Apparently I need a non-immigrant Visitors Visa which can be multiple use up to 10 years, but I still have to leave America before 6 months is up. I can leave and come back for another 6 months etc, but it is up to the customs officers at the port of entry as to whether I've left for long enough each time. Once I'm married a Spousal visa is the next step, which can take up to 6 months to process, but it'll be the one that sorts out the non-immigrant/immigrant issue. Got my car registration off hold today, but the Warrant of Fitness runs out tomorrow, so I've got to sort that out too.
Worked at the shop today, and will be again on Saturday afternoon, so I've been keeping very busy, but.......
